Blepharoplasty gone wrong, 3 weeks post-op. Advice? (photos)

Question

I am 3 weeks post surgery and my eyes look horrible. They look small and beady and people are commenting that I look tired all the time. They look so weird when I smile. Is the lid too large why my eyes look so small?? I wanted to look refreshed not tired and like I've had surgery. The scar is also very tight and when I look up or to the side or try to frown it changes the shape of my eyes. Please tell me this will change I am so worried.

From your photos, it looks like your blepharoplasty has gone right, not wrong. You are only 3 weeks out from surgery. Be patient. You look like you are healing nicely at 3 weeks.  Your eyes do not look unusually small, and curve seems normal.  There is still some swelling and as this resolves the lids will look more natural.  I think you will have an excellent result.

3 weeks is too early to reach a final conclusion after an eyelid surgery. Your surgeon would've discussed with you that 6 weeks is the minimum time for the swelling to settle, healing to take place and 3-6 months for it be normalise. It's actually a nice result, just got to all the right thing for your scar and wound healing and keeping the swelling down.

I think it says a little about your personality, that you are complaining about your upper lid blepharoplasty result ('blepharoplasty gone wrong') when you are looking at the early postoperative healing, not the final result.
I agree with the observation of Dr Andrew Campbell, that the photos show what is giving every indication of being  a very good result.
It is a pity for you that you are going through this phase of doubt and anguish, unnecessarily.
Better for you that you seek reassurance from the surgeon who performed your surgery than from social media. He, or she will be able to expoanin what was done at the time of surgery.
Also the essential aftercare, especially about keeping your head elevated to minimise swelling, which I suspect has not been the case. It would be good for all to see your result at 4 months and then the very final outcome at a year, end then how you fee about the result then.
