It’s important to distinguish between varicose veins and spider veins when choosing between laser therapy, sclerotherapy, and vein surgery. With two board certified vein specialists, our center uses a combination of visual examination, functional flow measurements, ultrasound, transillumination, and infrared light to map out vein networks prior to therapy. Lasers can be used to treat deep varicose vein insufficiency, vein perforators, and varicose veins. Sclerotherapy is ideal for spider veins and reticular veins. Whereas surgery is reserved for severely incompetent varicose vein segments.Best,Dr. KaramanoukianRealself100 Surgeon
It is not likely that they will spontaneously regress or go away on their own.I agree with thermolysis for this (VeinGogh).Hratch L Karamanoukian MD FACScertified vein specialist
Appears to be spider veins or telangiectasis and will unlikely not go away spontaneously. Ohmic thermolysis would be my choice of treatment rather than sclerotherapy involving the injection of a medication into the 'head' area.
Unfortunately these are called telangiectasis. These vein don't go away on their own. Treatments for facial telangiectasia include laser or ohmic therapy. Each one should be done by a specialist and may require multiple treatments to get the desired results.
Unfortunately not. These are spider veins, and they will not simply go away without treatment. The good news is that there are very good options for resolving facial spider veins, using laser or devices like VeinGogh. Treatment is quick, easy, very effective, and there is no downtime, and very little discomfort. However, depending on the size and number of your veins, it may require multiple treatment sessions. You should be seen by an experienced vein specialist, who has multiple treatment options available to offer.
Unfortunately, these tiny veins will not disappear on their own. The treatment that we recommend for our patients with veins on the face would be to use laser therapy. Specifically we recommend the Cutera Excel V laser.Treating spider veins on the face is tricky because arteries and veins run very closely together in this area and there is a risk of complication. Treatment of facial veins with laser therapy requires a highly skilled doctor. If these veins are bothersome to you, go see a board certified vein specialist to discuss treatment.
The posted veins will not disappear on their own. There are many ways to treat facial veins including laser, sclerotherapy, fine needle RF, VeinWave, VeinGogh and IPL. See a vein specialist.
These blood vessels are called telangiectasias. If they are 1mm or less in diameter, they should respond to a few treatments with a pulsed dye laser like the V-Beam. Attached a reference below.

There is no contraindication to having spider vein treatment in a patient with a history of melanoma. Sclerotherapy or superficial laser treatment should improve the cosmetic appearance.
