I have lots of small thin thread veins on my leg which I really want treated. I have had a melanoma in the past, stage one, on the back of my thigh. It is no where near where the treatment for the veins would be. Is there any danger of me having laser treatment? Would it make me more susceptible to getting another melanoma or damage my skin in any other way?

I would recommend a complete evaluation including ultrasound to determine if there is any systemic or localized problems with your venous return system.
