Surgeons may have varying opinions of how long to wait before exercising after cheek augmentation with implants. I would say the minimum amount of time would be one week before doing light exercise but some surgeons may have you wait longer. There should definitely not be any contact sports after the procedure for at least two months or longer. Going on a roller coaster would be fine a couple of weeks after the surgery, as this should not harm the implants.
In our practice, patients are able to get back to exercise 2 weeks after cheek implant placement.
