I want a MMO and a BBL. What procedure should I do first?

I want to do a MMO but I also want a BBL. I was wondering which one would be best to do first? I don't want to do all those procedures in one surgery. I would rather break it up. Please help I am lost rite now and don't want to make the wrong choice. Thank you so much for the response.

The MMO I perform includes a BBL. We usually do TT, Lipo, Breasts and BBL. If you're healthy, your hemoglobine levels are above 13 and on a stable weight, you can get those procedures together with no problem.

As mommy makeover operation is a combined surgery, it would be better to see your pictures to give a better consultation and quotation. We generally combine tummy tuck, liposuction and breast operations for mommy makeover but first, we need to understand your needs.

Thank you for your question. The exact order depends on the amount of extra fat you have and the amount of fat needed for buttock augmentation (BBL). if you want to get surgeries separately, then it is better to get BBL first and once you are healed, you can get mommy makeover. I perform the TT and liposuction/BBL combination frequently,  because many of my patients only want to go through surgery and recovery one time.   Recovery can be challenging and uncomfortable.   However, there are creative ways to manage the recovery position.  Pillows can be placed under the lower back and the posterior thighs, and patients can sleep on their backs.  A cushion with a hole cut out can perform a similar function.  There is also a mattress with a hole into which you can place your buttocks and sleep on your back. 
             You could stage the procedures and have the TT done first; then the liposuction and BBL.  However, the result will not be as tight as liposuction and BBL  first and then TT.   Both can be performed at the same time, but the upper abdomen cannot be aggressively liposuctioned at the time of the TT due to blood supply issues. The reason for this is simple.  More skin can be removed when less fat is present. The TT and breast augmentation/lift for the MMO can be combined.

I would begin with your breasts using The Bellesoma Method.  This will reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness without implants, elevate them higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage.  Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained.  At the same time or later, a tummy tuck can be done.  If you are not planning future pregnancies, I recommend abdominoplasty with mesh reinforcement.  The mesh creates a more hourglass figure by compressing the abdominal wall resulting in early satiety and helps maintain a reduced weight.  After these have been completed, you can consider liposuction and fat transfers to your breasts or buttocks if additional volume is desired.           Best Wishes,Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Thank you for your question. I'm assuming the MMO includes a tummy tuck, if that is the case then I
 personally don't recommend combining a tummy tuck with a BBL as it 
makes recovery difficult. One cannot sleep on their stomach (TT) or 
their back (BBL), so I generally recommend to perform the lipo/BBL first
 and then perform a tummy tuck six or more months later to address the loose skin. I recommend 
consulting with a plastic surgeon in person so they may assess you and 
recommend the procedures to help you achieve the aesthetic results you

The procedure that I normally combine is a Tummy Tuck with 360 Liposculpting and determine if a Tummy Tuck is needed or not and during the same surgery perform the BBL.  I then usually perform the Breast Procedure as a second surgery about three to six months later.

Thank you for sharing your question.  If your MMO includes a tummy tuck I would have the BBL performed first and the MMO in a second stage.  Reason being is depending on your BBL desires, liposuction of the abdomen may need to be done aggressively to harvest fat, but which increases the risk of a tummy tuck at the same time as well as prevents you from recovering in a comfortable position. Hope this helps.
