Hi and thanks for your question. Great question which I would ask you doctor who is doing the sclerotherapy treatment. In general, I would wait at least 6-8 weeks before performing coolsculpting on the same area that underwent sclerotherapy. As all patients are different, an in person consult with a trained CoolSculpting Physician is required to determine how long after Sclerotherapy a patent should under go a CoolSculpting treatment.
I wish we know who was at risk for this but we don't. I do let my patients know that if hyperplasia occurs (which it never has), I will perform liposuction on them for free... that is how rare it is. Best of luck, Sheila Nazarian
Thank you for your question. CoolSculpting is not a weight loss procedure. It works best on patients who have a healthy lifestyle but have a few stubborn areas of fat they cannot lose. CoolSculpting would not make much of a difference on someone who is 300lbs. Regards,
