I wish we know who was at risk for this but we don't.  I do let my patients know that if hyperplasia occurs (which it never has), I will perform liposuction on them for free... that is how rare it is.  Best of luck, Sheila Nazarian

Why is CoolSculpting not recommended for a person weighing 300 lbs? Good and bad aspects of this?

Thank you for your question. CoolSculpting is not a weight loss procedure. It works best on patients who have a healthy lifestyle but have a few stubborn areas of fat they cannot lose. CoolSculpting would not make much of a difference on someone who is 300lbs. Regards,

Ouch! I'm sorry to see that you've developed a blister after your CoolSculpting treatment. Although I've never seen this occur in my own practice, it is possible that you were burned during the treatment. I'm alarmed that the person you spoke with simply told you to administer vitamin E....
