Hello, thank you for your question. In my opinion, if you move slowly and carefully, you should be ok. You need to make sure you do not lift or strain. Those movements can cause problems. Best Wishes!#TT #Binder #twistmotion
Twisting to put on your binder should not in any way affect your tummy tuck results. Wearing your binder is crucial to your recovery. You do want to stay away from any lifting and/or core exercises/strain. Best, Dr. Nazarian
Thank you for your question. If you find it very difficult to put on your binder, perhaps it is too tight? It is difficult to understand the issue based on a description alone, so this is something you should mention to your PS.
Hi and thanks for the question. Minor twisting of your torso should not be a problem after tummy tuck. Heavy lifting and activities that put a stress on your abdominal muscles can cause injury and should be avoided. Best of luck with your result...
Dear Shawn, Congratulations on having your tummy tuck 11 days ago! Simply twisting while putting on your abdominal binder should not affect your tummy tuck results. Please avoid straining and lifting anything heavy for the first 6 weeks following a tummy tuck. Best wishes, Dr. Richard Swift

Hello, thank you for your question and photo. It appears to me that you have had some healing issues with your belly button. I suggest you contact your out of town PS and if you cannot return to him, ask him for a referral to a board certified plastic surgeon in your area for follow up...
For safety reasons, to be a good candidate for the procedures you want, your labs and cardiovascular preoperative evaluation must be optimal and you must be a healthy person, within an appropriate BMI. Yo appear to be good candidate for tummy tuck if you achieve your weight goal.Kind regards,Dr....
There shouldn't be any problem with your getting a pap smear and/or a pelvic exam post tummy tuck. However, discuss with both your surgeon and Ob/Gyn just to be sure. Best, Dr. Nazarian
Thank you for your question. Occasionally small clots can develop within the tubing of a tummy tuck drain but as long as the area of insertion does not look infected, there is no significant swelling taking place, and the drain is still wicking fluid into the bulb, it is okay to maintain...
I am so sorry that you are experiencing this, but I don't think it has anything to do with your surgery. But is related to your weight. Try to take a bit of the excess off with a reasonable eating plan and exercise. It will definitely improve your bulge. Best, Dr. Nazarian
Hello, thank you for your question. I suggest you discuss this with your PS. Each PS has their own preference on post op treatment. In my practice most patients will be placed in an abdominal binder, which they will wear the first week. There is usually a fair amount of swelling and the binder...
