Hello, thank you for your question and photo.  It appears to me that you have had some healing issues with your belly button. I suggest you contact your out of town PS and if you cannot return to him, ask him for a referral to a board certified plastic surgeon in your area for follow up care. Tummy tucks can take at least 6 months to a year to heal. Once complete healing is achieved you can pursue an umbilicoplasty which is building you a new belly button. That means after reviewing the posted photos - complete necrosis of your belly button! Guess out of country surgery strikes AGAIN! When are you all going to learn the high risks to going to a 3rd world country with minimal medical surgical care to have difficult cosmetic operations... Now reconstruction of your bb will cost $$$$$$$$$$$$$s.......

Based on the picture you have provided, it seems as though the belly button has had problems with healing. I would not say that this a serious situation, however, I recommend following up with your initial plastic surgeon. He or she may recommend local wound care until the area heals completely. After approximately 6 months to one year, you will likely require an umbilicoplasty, in which a new belly button may need to be created depending what it looks like at the one year mark.
