Thank you for your question about Botox Cosmetic. It would probably be a good idea to wait 1-2 days.To be sure, see two or more licensed and board-certified providers in your area for a complete evaluation to make sure you are a good candidate and that it is safe for you to have these treatments.I hope this helps.
I tell my patients to wait a day before massaging the face. This includes massaging with products. I really want to make sure that the product is not massaged out of placement.I hope this helps.
I recommend waiting 2 or 3 days after botox and juvederm before using vitamin c, retinol and aha's. This way, the very tiny injection sites can heal and they won't get extra irritated.
We typically tell our patients to stop using any product with an active ingredient for 2-3 days after treatment.

With Botox, I have patients wait 4 hours before touching their faces. Then, they can resume normal activity and skin care. With filler, I let them resume their skin care the next day.

Both Botox and Juvederm are placed below the surface of the skin, so skin care products can be used immediately after either injection. The use of retinol with Botox and Juvederm is an effective way to target wrinkles from all the mechanisms of actions.
We allow patients to resume use of topical products immediately after injectable treatments such as Botox and Juvederm. I do recommend no massaging the area for 24 hours.
There is no reason to stop your skin care regime for Botox or Juvederm. There will be no interactions. I recommend Retin A or Retinol for most patients for antiaging.
