I got a Breast Augmentation with a Crescent Lift about 6 months ago. I’m not loving my results so far. I got 225 CC silicone implants under the muscle. I brought up my concerns and was told we could revisit my concerns after 1 year. My last appointment was 3 months post op. I just wanted to trust the process but already didn’t love how they were looking. I think it’s waterfall breast deformity. I just wanted my surgeon to take a look and discuss my options. Should I seek help elsewhere?

Answer: 3 months reveals problems that need to be addressed All too often surgeons either gaslight or delay the inevitable, in your case the latter. A crescent lift is an operation for no one. It has no power in lifting the breast and virtually no power in moving the nipple areolar complex; it only seems to elongate the areola. Your frontal photo makes very clear the reality for you: You needed a full mastopexy then, and you'll need one now. You'll also need a capsulorrhaphy to close down the implant pocket.

Answer: Breast revision Thank you for your question. A large portion of my practice is dedicated to revision breast surgery, and I have been in practice almost 30 years. It is clear from your anatomy, that you needed a breast lift. A crescent lift or donut lift is not a breast lift. Any surgeon who tries to create a breast lift with a crescent lift, in my opinion, is not talented and probably not a board-certified plastic surgeon. The good news is that you are an excellent candidate for breast lift and should be able to have an excellent result. Best wishes to you.
