Communication is the most important thing when meeting a rhinoplasty surgeon. It is important that you feel comfortable with their aesthetic goals but also their personality. The results of nose surgery are not immediate. they take up to 12-18 months to see the final changes. Computer imaging is one tool we use in the office to discuss possible changes. Other patient photographs of their before and after journey can help demonstrate their results. Sometimes patients bring in pictures of noses that they like or do not like. These are all great communication tools, not guarantees of surgery but they can help you develop a feel if this is the right surgeon for you.
