i have a question about two different styles of implants 1: natrelle inspira style TSX/TSF Xtra full projection in the 560c 2: natrelle style 45 smooth round extra high profile in the 700cc BOTH of these implants have the exact same diameter (13,5cm) and the exact same projection (6,4cm). how can two different style implants with the exact same projection and diameter have a very different amount of cc's? are there any other considerable differences between these two styles? thank you so much
Answer: Next Generation Silicone Implants Good morning, this is a great question and one that many surgeons had when the Inspira implants came onto the market.Though both of these implants (Inspira TSX vs Style 45) are round and both are silicone filled, there is a difference between the two (beyond the fact that the Inspira implant you listed is textured).I also note that you have listed the TSX and TSF as though they are the same, they are not. The TSX is the extra-full projection (at 13.5cm BW, 6.4cm projection, 560 grams) and the TSF is the full projection (at 13.5cm BW, 5.5cm projection, 520grams).But for the purposes of this discussion your question is still valid. The Style 45 is an older device, no longer available in some markets. The Inspira implant is the latest generation of silicone devices from Allergan. It was devised to offer more projection and less rippling at the edges for any given volume and base width. To do this they use TruForm 2 highly cohesive gel (more form stable) and fill the device to a higher percentage (approximately 95%, compared to 86% for older devices).Even though all implants you listed are round, the manufacturer has changed the implant envelope and fill characteristics enough that a direct comparison for volume is no longer possible.Sit down with your board certified plastic surgeon and go over this question again.Remember, their results, experience and your goals are the most important factors to take into account as you make your final implant selection.Best of luck with your search.

Answer: #AllerganInspiraImplantDifferences. The fill volume for the Inspira implants are higher so that it maintains it's shape better though a bit more firmer (more cohesive and denser).

Answer: Implnat differences I think that Dr. Delvecchio explained it well. The base is similar but the dimension of the three D structure is not.

Answer: Easy Answer- one is round one is Teardrop The one that is round will have a larger volume because of the volume of a sphere. The inspire implant is a textured anatomic, or teardrop implant which means on one end of it it tapers down like a teardrop. Therefore there is less volume - even though it's two dimensions height and width are the same.in other words, in two dimensions, they are the same, but in three dimensions, they're not the same.

Answer: Silicone breast implant size differences- Do the Math! Dear Elakimba, I believe that you answered your question yourself! Different style implants will be expected to have different proportional dimensions regardless of the implant volume as measured in cc's. Take for example a theroreticly perfect dome shaped breast implant compared to a tear drop or spherical shaped implant- they may have similar total cc's but one would look bigger than the other and its up to you and your plastic surgeon to decide what you want to select based on your anatomy. Its actually part mathematics and part aesthetics. I believe also that the 560 cc silicone gel implant you described actually measures 14.0 cm in diameter and has a projection of 5.4 cm so its broader and larger at the base but projects less than the 700 cc style 45.
