Which would you recommend; High profile or ultra high profile? (photo)

The gap between the breasts cannot always be safely narrowed by simply putting a wider implant.  This is because between the breasts is skin of the breast bone or "sternum".  If an implant is pushed too far to the middle of the chest or is too big,  the skin of the sternum can start to lift up.  The lifting of the sternum skin causes a problem known as synmastia, which means the two breasts begin to look like they are trying to merge into one.You should be careful in trying to go larger than what your breast measurements indicate as being safe.That being said, it is impossible to know what is too big until it causes a problem and these problems are rarely evident immediately after surgery.  They can take months to become evident.

Ultra-high profile implants can flip and look very strange.  Just like shaped implants.  In Canada we've had them for a longer time than in the US and after the initial enthusiasm most people stopped using them for that reason.  When they turn/flip, they look weird.

I have recently converted to moderate profile + over UHP and HP. I found the cleavage issue better resolved with the moderates... 

Thank you for your question. It is difficult to give you a recommendation without a consultation. But based on your statements above I would recommend an ultra high profile implant at the same or greater base diameter as your current breast size. The ultra high profile would give you the projection that you are looking for. The larger base diameter will give you the fullness in the middle and sides that you currently lack. I recommend finding a boy certify plastic surgeon in your area for a consultation. During the consultation he can measure your breast width and then look at the available implants at your desired size.
