The main issue in the photograph is the length of the tip and the heaviness of the columella. Improving these things in conjunction with reducing the bridge will make a nice improvement in the nose as a whole. It is vital to see surgeons that specialize in rhinoplasty when deciding to go ahead with surgery.

I agree with your thought that the Nostril show is somewhat excessiveand the profile could be reduced. In my opinion the cause of The more prominent nostril from the side is a  round infra tip lobule. The infratip lobule is the area between the straight columella at the upper part of the nostril and the tip defining point, which is the highest point on the tip cartilages. To refine the profile and flatten the infratip lobule, tip plasty with sutures and a cartilage graft to straighten the cartilages is required. Profile can be smoothed to match the tip. 

One cannot diagnose a bulbous tip easily from a profile photos which you've posted.  Proper rhinoplasty photos include both profiles, frontal view, and the two three-quarters views.Once you firm up in your mind that you would like to have this performed, your best bet is a personalized consultation with an experienced board certified plastic surgeon.

The photograph demonstrates a dorsal hump and columellar show. The dorsal hump can be shaved down which requires osteotomies to narrow the bridge line. To reduce the columellar show, caudal septal cartilage and skin is removed on the inside of the columella at the base of the nose.
