Would a nose job help me?

Question

I've been insecure about my nose for the longest time. It is round, overall has no definition or visible tip in my opinion. I have not had a consult yet, first I wanted to know if based on my pictures I would be a good candidate for this procedure. Thank you in advance

The pictures just shows you nose from one view and is insufficient to give you an accurate opinion, but it shows that you have a boxy tip and retracted columella. An open tip rhinoplasty with suture modification of your nasal tip and a septal extension graft to improve your columella projection will be necessary to give you the result you are asking for. This could be demonstrated to you by computer simulation. The aim would be to narrow your tip and give it the appropriate projection. It would have to include Improving the columella so that it sits lower than the alar margins.

Yes, your nose could be improved with rhinoplasty, which would give permanent improvements in symmetry and shape and will improve the tip. You can bring the photos of noses that you think would be flattering to your face and these can be discussed. When you meet with a facial plastic surgeon, he or she will consider your nose in balance with your other features and can over the cost of the procedure. I hope this helps.

Based on the photos, you would be a good candidate for rhinoplasty. The tip cartilages can be refined and thinned to create a nicer tip that will stand out better from the rest of the nose. Be sure to see a rhinoplasty specialist for consultation and computer imaging.

Candidacy for a rhinoplasty (or any operation) is best judged based on expectations and overall health status and not just on anatomy and appearance. Based on the close-up frontal view photos you provided, it appears that you have a bulbous nasal tip with medium to thick nasal skin. I recommend you see a rhinoplasty expert for a consultation and in-person examination to discuss your concerns (aesthetic and functional) and possible treatment options. You are a great candidate for closed rhinoplasty, which would avoid a scar on the outside of the nose. You would benefit from trimming and suturing of your lower cartilage, and possibly more depending on the appearance and structure of the rest of your nose. photograph, you may benefit from a tip refining rhinoplasty. Your surgeon can
accomplish this by trimming, suturing, and reshaping the cartilage in your
lower nose.  Make
sure you specifically look at before and after pictures of real patients
who have had this surgery performed by your surgeon and not just a computer
animation system. The most important aspect is to find a

What you want done is completely up to you.Rhinoplasty which typically starts at $5,500 depending on the area you live. To make sure you get the best possible result, the surgeon should perform a detailed exam of the nose and provide a realistic goal that you and your surgeon agree upon. Rhinoplasty are permanent, but with age facial features do change. Find a surgeon and go for a consult. Maybe try and see if the Dr can do photo imaging to show you what he or she can achieve.

A thorough internal and external examination the nose along with a full set of facial photographs are going to be required to make a determination about how to proceed. Thick skin in the tip of the nose will prevent refinement.
