Having had my 2nd FUT procedure..iv been told the surgeon found it difficult to stitch me up... the 1st one was excellent.. but I'm 9 months post op.. theres part of the scar the size and width of my thumb that is totally smooth.. it looks like an alopecia patch... Iv been told to wait a good 6 months.. but I'm convinced it won't grow back... this is definitely different to the first FUT I had done...

Answer: Sometimes you can have hair loss around the donor scar area. It may grow back. You may have to wait one full year in general.
You can wear a beanie or a hat after you have healed. If you are concerned about timing please contact your doctor.You should worry more about the crusting and scabbing. Please contact your doctor.
