What to expect 6 months after a hair transplant?

I had a hair transplant of 2600 grafts (FUE method) Nov/11.I'm now almost at the 6th month(May) after surgery, but I'm not satisfied with the results. Adding to that I'm losing lots of hair while showering and I dont know if it is normal or not! I'm worried any help?

It can take 6 to 12 months after surgery to see results.  If you are concerned it is best to contact your doctor

While some patients experience significant growth at the 6 months mark it is not uncommon for many to experience only little growth. Usually at the 6 months mark you are around 40% regrowth. .You notice a significant difference at around 10-12 months. Also, keep in mind that you will experience regrowth up until 18 months. The secret is to remain patient.If you have any concerns about your hair loss I would consult a specialist.

Full growth is generally achieved at ~12 months after the procedure. So 6 months out some people may be seeing a lot of growth, others may not see too much so far but will still have good results in the end. For now just be patient and keep in contact with your doctor if you have more questions. Typically by 8-10 months if your results are still significantly lackluster, you can start thinking about things to do to help remedy the situation (including a second transplant).

Please post photographs for better assessment and us to give precise advice. Hair shedding is a normal phenomenon and usually it occurs within the first 2nd week to the 6th week of transplant. But it has been known to occur sooner or later as much as 6th month of hair transplantation. It is absolutely normal. There is nothing to be alarmed about. So, please be assured the hair will grow back.

I would expect that some growth has already happened  and that 80% of the growth will be ween by the 8th month
