I had a hair transplant of 2600 grafts (FUE method) Nov/11.I'm now almost at the 6th month(May) after surgery, but I'm not satisfied with the results. Adding to that I'm losing lots of hair while showering and I dont know if it is normal or not! I'm worried any help?

Answer: Hair transplant Thank you for asking this question. Please post photographs for better assessment and us to give precise advice. Hair shedding is a normal phenomenon and usually it occurs within the first 2nd week to the 6th week of transplant. But it has been known to occur sooner or later as much as 6th month of hair transplantation. It is absolutely normal. There is nothing to be alarmed about. So, please be assured the hair will grow back. Good luck! Regards, Dr. Amit Gupta

Answer: 6 months after transplant I would expect that some growth has already happened and that 80% of the growth will be ween by the 8th month
