Will a Dermapen help a deep scar above my lip? (Photo)

Dermapen will require many treatments to build up the collagen and elastin of the scar, other more suitable options could include subcision with a combination of PRP, laser or fillers. This is a difficult problem to improve and will a perfect result will not be possible.

You mention that the scar feels tight- does the scar cause any functional impairment? i.e. is your smile uneven? does that side of your mouth pull when you talk or whistle? If there is, I would see a plastic surgeon for assessment first in case there is a role for surgery.
If not, a treatment like Dermapen may well help with the scarring. It's likely that a combination approach may be needed such as Dermapen, PRP, Silicon gel and perhaps even laser. You would likely need a number of treatment sessions though as scars are slow to respond to treatment. I've had good success with scars even after 14 months though.
I'd suggest you see a cosmetic physician or dermatologist though and not a beauty therapist for this type of treatment.
