I am so torn choosing a size so really appreciate your help. I'm 5"5, 122lbs & have a BWD of 11.5cm 325 hp diameter is 11.5cm 275 mod plus diameter is 11.7cm (Mentor). I don't want to go smaller in diameter than my natural measurements as i have no upper tissue & would like a natural cleavage so I would like to stay as close to my natural measurements as I can. I don't want the stuck on or fake look, but don't want to feel I have saved up for so long to feel they are too small/disappointed. Thanks
Answer: Size and Profile Selection Good morning! There is not much difference in those two choices, in size or in shape. Given that, I vote for the larger one- the 325cc.

Answer: Best breast implants for me? Thank you for the question and picture. Based on your photograph, I think that you are starting at a good place and should have a very nice outcome with breast augmentation surgery. My best advice: more communication. It is definitely worth spending more time (prior to the date of surgery) with your plastic surgeon to discuss further. As you know, it will be important for many reasons, that you feel comfortable that you and your plastic surgeon are on the "same page" prior to proceeding. One question that might be helpful for you to consider: would you be more disappointed if you are slightly too big or slightly too small after the breast augmentation procedure? Generally speaking, the best online advice I can give to ladies who are considering breast augmentation surgery (regarding breast implant size/profile selection) is: 1. Concentrate on choosing your plastic surgeon carefully. Concentrate on appropriate training, certification, and the ability of the plastic surgeon to achieve the results you are looking for. ***Ask to see lots of examples of his/her work. Sometimes, it is necessary to seek several consultations before you feel comfortable about your choice. 2. Have a full discussion and communication regarding your desired goals with your plastic surgeon. This communication will be critical in determining breast implant size/type/profile will most likely help achieve your goals. In my practice, the use of photographs of “goal” pictures (and breasts that are too big or too small) is very helpful. I have found that the use of words such as “natural” or "C cup” etc may mean different things to different people and therefore prove unhelpful. Also, as you know, cup size varies depending on him who makes the bra; therefore, discussing desired cup size may also be inaccurate. Again, best not to discuss your goals and/or judge the outcome of the procedure performed based on achieving a specific cup size. The use of computer imaging may be very helpful during the communication process. The use of in bra sizers may also be helpful. In other words, use as many “visual aids” as possible during the communication process. I encourage patients to meet with me as my times as necessary, to feel comfortable that we are both on the “same page”. 3. Once you feel you have communicated your goals clearly, allow your plastic surgeon to use his/her years of experience/judgment to choose the breast implant size/profile that will best meet your goals. Again, in my practice, this decision is usually made during surgery. I generally select appropriate breast implant size/profile after the use of temporary intraoperative sizers and viewing the patient's chest in the upright and supine positions. I hope this helps. Best wishes for an outcome that you will be very pleased with.

Answer: Choosing between breast implants? Choosing between breast implants? Congratulations on choosing breast augmentation for your future! Choosing between breast implant sizes is an extremely personal choice and it is really impossible to do online. However, I think you can use your plastic surgeon as a resource to guide you in choosing between the two sizes you have mentioned. Additionally, I don’t want you to forget that there’s also a 300 mL breast implant which might be a good compromise for what you’re trying to achieve. My suggestion to my patients, is to come back to the office as many times as they want to see me and try on our sizing system until they get hundred percent sure about the size they plan to choose. At the sizes you have mentioned, there is very little risk that it would look too big for your body.

Answer: Can you help me choose between 275cc moderate plus and 325cc high profile? It would be difficult to give an assessment as to implant size and shape without a personal evaluation. The optimal implant size and shape will depend on factors such as your chest wall measurements, your tissue elasticity, your desired results and the skills and techniques of your surgeon. The best course of action would be to schedule an appointment with a board certified plastic surgeon for an in person examination and a detailed discussion of your surgical options.

Answer: Size Thank you for your question and included pictures. It is hard to recommend implant sizes for patients without seeing them in person, taking measurements, and reviewing other patients before/after pictures (or perhaps your "wish pics"). All that being said, in my experience, when patients are trying to decide between two sizes, I usually encourage them to go with the larger size (within reason) because very frequently when they go with the smaller size, they wish they'd gone larger once swelling/settling occurs a couple months after surgery. Best of luck to you!
