My left eye looks smaller than my right eye. (photos)

Question

My left eye appears much smaller than my right and it is affecting my life. I cannot take picture while looking at the camera as my left eye appears much smaller and makes me look horrible. I have tried going to the optometrists to get my eyes checked and vision tested. My right eye has blurry vision whereas the vision in my left eye is much clearer, although the opticians say there is nothing wrong with my eye but it becomes red very easily and feels uncomfortable, I've also been given eyedrops

From your photos, it appears that your right eye is "smaller" than your left, unless you were using a mirror to take your pictures. Regardless, it apppears the affected eye has a small degree of ptosis, or droop. This can adversly affect the vision if it is extensive enough,in which case it should be corrected. Schedule an appointment with a surgeon who routinely does this type of surgery for a thorough evaluation.

Hi.  It looks like you have just a little bit of eyelid ptosis (droop) on your right side, which gives the illusion of having a smaller eye.  Best to speak with an oculoplastic surgeon about the options for repair.

A certain level of asymmetry in the human body is considered normal.

That could  be your situation. If you can compare some older photos

to the present that may be helpful in the diagnosis. Consider seeing

Thank you for your question.  Your right eyelid is slightly lower than the left eyelid.  In other words, you have ptosis of the right upper eyelid.  The condition can be corrected with surgery.  Best wishes.

Limited views, but it appears that you have a right eyelid ptosis, the eyelid on that side is too low. This can be corrected with Surgery.

If you cannot get the answer from an optometrist try going to an ophthalmologist who is an MD as well. Your eyes look normal in the photo and many people have minor asymmetries in their eyes including famous models and actors.
