Can open roof deformity close by itself? (Photo)

Thanks for the question. It looks like the left nasal bone is collapsed in. Palpation of the nasal pyramid/bones in clinic would clarify the diagnosis.Bony abnormalities do not tend to improve with time. Irregularities tend to persist or become more apparent as the oedema of the skin subsides.
Nasal bone collapse can occur when a nasal bone is overly mobile following an uncontrolled fracture. This occurs not infrequently with the use of osteotomes to break the nasal bones.These issues can be improved with a revision rhinoplasty. Using a piezo ultrasonic machine to precisely rebreak the bone and reposition the nasal bone would be an ideal tool to perform this surgery.

It is always difficult to tell without a physical exam, however it is unlikely that there is a true "open roof" deformity as this is a relatively rare complication following rhinoplasty. It is more likely that the bones did not heal completely straight following osteotomy creating a step off in the bone. This may be amenable to cartilage grafting in the future if it bothers you significantly.

Based on your photos, you appear to have thin nasal skin which tends to magnify irregularities after rhinoplasty. You may have 2 indentations, both on your left, causing a crooked nasal appearance. Depending on your condition, microdroplet Silikon-1000 may be considered for achieving a straighter nasal appearance without additional surgery. Hope this helps! Dr Joseph

For the crooked nose asymetric bone breaks and spreader graft placement are mostly required for the straighter nose. I do not know which techniques were performed but it can be improved by a revision surgery
