I'm 20 years, I do heavy lifting including hip thrusts, deadlifts, squats, abductor exercises, cable exercises, among others. Lately I've been considering getting buttock implants. Is there any complications after getting implants? Would I still be able to workout as I currently do? I'm terrified that the implants might explode or move when working out.

Answer: My recommendation Hello, thank you for the question and provided information as well. The answer is yes, you can do your exercise after surgery, you just have to wait from 6-7 months post op to do it or the time your plastic surgeon tell you to wait. l recommend you to make an appointment with a board certified plastic surgeon to talk about your goals and anything you need to know. Best of lucks. Dr. Luis Mejia

Answer: Postoperative protocol Dear Mariafe2703, generally speaking, you should be able to continue your activities after implants. But every plastic surgeon has his own postoperative protocol which he recommends to his patients. I would suggest you to discuss this with your plastic surgeon.
