How many syringes does it take to do upper lip and lines around the lips?

Hello! That is a difficult question to answer without seeing how deep your lines are and discussing how much volume you want. Typically Volbella gives the best results for fine lines, and usually 1-2 syringes will address this. For volume there are several different options that vary in longevity. One syringe will give minimal volume. Patients wanting fuller lips benefit from 2-3 syringes. Find an experienced injector and discuss your goals with them. Good luck!

Dear payten12,I typically use Juvederm for my lip sculpting. There are two main focuses of lip injections, adding volume and actually sculpting the shape. Both involve injecting the filler in different areas of the lips and patterns.

Generally speaking it takes two syringes of different products to treat the lines around the lips and the lips themselves.  Juvederm Volbella is the best product for treating the lines around the mouth and Juvederm Ultra Plus and Restylane are the two best products for treating the lips for a plumper look.  Please consult an expert in cosmetic lip injections for the best and natural looking results. Every patient is different, and what one patient may require for full correction will differ compared to another patient. My recommendation would be to consult with a reputable plastic surgical practice where you can be evaluated by an experienced injector and address any questions/concerns at that time.
