Thank you for your question. Your breasts may continue to develop over the next several years. Women's breasts can change significantly over their lifetime due to such influences as weight gain and loss, exercise, pregnancies, and hormonal fluctuations. You may want to wait until you're 21 or 22 to see if your breasts continue to develop. At that time, if you are still unhappy with your breast size, you may want to consider consulting an experienced board certified plastic surgeon with extensive experience in breast augmentation to find out more about your options. Best off luck to you.
Thank you for this question. At the age of18, most women will find that the majority of breast growth has come to an end.I suggest scheduling a breast augmentation consultation with an experienced, board certified plastic surgeon, who can assess your situation. He/she canelaborate on any expected changes to your bust size, and explain your futureoptions for a breast augmentation.
Thank you for the detailed question. It is impossible to say for sure if your breasts are done growing. They may continue to mature, and if you gain weight or go through hormonal changes such as pregnancy they will change as well. The FDA recommends waiting until patients are 22 years or older for breast augmentation with silicone implants, taking into consideration that some women are still maturing up to or even past that point. Even if you are not interested in breast surgery with implants you could consider fat transfer to the breasts to give them extra volume. I recommend seeing a board-certified plastic surgeon in-person to discuss your concerns. At our practice we also provide consults via FaceTime or Skype for patients who live outside of NY. This is a great question. In general, breast growth and development is complete between ages 17-21 years. By the age of 18, the vast majority of female patients will have completed their breast development. A woman's age and breast growth is taken into consideration by plastic surgeons when discussing certain breast procedures with patients, especially younger patients. That is one important reason why the consensus among most of US board-certified plastic surgeons and the American Society of Plastic Surgery is to wait until the age of 18 before considering breast augmentation or enhancement. That being said, the breast size and shape continues to evolve through out a woman's life and are affected by such things as pregnancy, breast feeding, weight fluctuation, and menopause. These factors are taken into consideration for all cosmetic breast surgeries, such as breast augmentation, breast lift, and breast reduction. When considering cosmetic breast surgery, I strongly recommend consulting with a Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon to discuss your option.Best wishes, Andrew Lyos MD, FACS
Thank you for your question. Breast may continue to grow until early twenties. It is unlikely that your breasts will grow a significant size. If you are looking for bigger breast I suggest consulting with a board certified plastic surgeon. Best of luck!Dhaval M. Thank you for this question. Your breasts may grow up until age 22. So, you have 4 years to see if nature can help you. However, sometimes nature is cruel and you may need to find a plastic surgeon to give you the breasts you've always dreamed about. Best wishes. Dr. ALDO
Thank you for your question. Breast development can continue up to age 20. Weight gain/loss, pregnancy and breastfeeding are all contributors to breast volume. Best wishes.
Typically breasts are mature at the age of 18 and do not appreciably grow larger unless there is weight gain. Best wishes
Some women continue their growth thru the early 20s. When done growing the 2 most common reasons for change in breast size are pregnancy and/or significant weight change. With pregnancy it is all about what the milk of pregnancy could do.Dr. Ted Eisenberg, Board Certified Plastic Surgeon and Author
Breasts will grow until your very early twenties. After that breast stop growing, though they may change a little depending on factors like weight, bodyfat ratio and pregnancy.
