The nostrils that appeared uneven only when you look from below should not be repaired. Trying to fix that asymmetry can lead to asymmetry that becomes obvious from the front view.RegardsDr. J
Whilenostril asymmetry is the most difficult area of asymmetry to correct, in mostcases it can be improved during rhinoplasty. While perfect symmetry isnot attainable, improved symmetry usually is. Costswill vary widely depending on the location, experience and skill of thesurgeon.
All nostrils are asymmetric. However, it looks like your caudal septum may be curved into your left airway contributing to the asymmetry. This can often be corrected to improve the asymmetry.
Thank you for your question. Thebest place to start is schedule a consultation with an experienced Rhinoplastysurgeon who can explore the possibilities with you. Best wishes
Who can see that view?? Its called a "worm's eye view" ..Its not noticed in the normal passage of events. Its not worth fixing.
Sometimes the immediate swelling after nasal surgery can give the appearance of a hump. You should give it at least 3 months before you decide on a revision surgery.RegardsDr. J
From the photos you provided you appear to be a good candidate for rhinoplasty. Redefining the nasal tip to achieve a narrower, more defined appearance is a very reasonable goal. An experienced rhinoplasty surgeon should be able to help you achieve your desired outcome.
If you have beige Chromic dissolvable sutures on your septum, these may begin to fall out. When they hang from the nostril, we advise our patients to visit us, or to snip the dissolvable suture at the nostril margin. Hope this helps! Dr Joseph
