Got lips touched up with .5ml of restylane 5 days ago and the center of my lip is hanging over my bottom lip. Looks weird. Teeth more covered than usual. It seems like it's still swollen but I didn't have this issue last time. Is this normal?
Answer: Restylane for lips It can take about two weeks for any swelling or bruising to resolve after Restylane or Juvederm lip injections. If you are not happy with your result at that time, please return to your doctor for reassessment. You may require additional filler, particularly for your lower lip.

Answer: Lip is too big after Restylane injection I agree with you that the upper lip looks disproportionately bigger than the lower. It would be helpful to see before the injection photos to really understand the difference resulted from the procedure. I would guess your lips were not small to start with. It is possible that post-procedural swelling accounts for a part of it, although by 5th day the swelling should have had mostly subsided. Another possibility is that the lip was overcorrected with Restylane. I would advise you to give it a few more weeks for the edema to resolve and filler to settle. There is alway an option of Hyalutonidase injection to resorb the filler, although I would use it as a last resort.
