I noticed recently that my cheeks lacked volume and my face was looking a little droopy. Anyway, a doctor recommended I have restylane in my cheeks. He placed two syringes in the apples of my cheeks. I only noticed after he placed the filler that I needed the volume along the cheekbone for lift, not in the apples. Now my midface looks heavy and I look much older. I had his done about four months ago. Is there anything I can do to speed it up?

Answer: Misplaced Filler Hi Bambi. You have a couple options. The first is to remove the Restylane with Hyaluronidase. This enzyme will dissolve the filler and you will go back to how you looked before having treatment. If you want improvement on your results rather than reversal, then this may be accomplished by adding filler where you need it most instead of where it was placed previously. To know how to correct it, pictures on an in person consultation would help.To see examples of before and after photos of dermal filler injections in Los Angeles, click on the link below.

Answer: Restylane and Misplacement In Cheeks You can improve on this and may not need it reversed, I suggest seeing a facial contouring specialist who can evaluate your face and determine if restructuring with other fillers will be best or reversing what you already have is better. Best, Dr. Emer.
