When evaluating area if one pages the skin and the distance between the two fingers is an inch or more liposuction may be of benefit. There are other areas where a smaller fold might still yield good results. The pubic area is one such.
Dear sglovesy, The pinch test is done over the pubic bone by pinching the skin between the thumb and index finger. If the fat pinch is over 3/4 - 1 cm , than liposuction can improve the area by aspirating the fat. Few small incisions are needed for the criss- cross liposuction, in order to achieve smooth and even surface and prevent the fat from coming back. Best of luck, Dr Widder
From the description it sounds like you are at ideal body weight. If several surgeons feel I cannot help you with liposuction it probably means they cannot.
Having used most modalities of liposuction I think the advantage of a laser or ultrasound is not there but potential problems, such as burns to the skin, do exist.
