Advil should be avoided a week prior and post injections to decrease the chances of bruising. Tylenol would be the best alternative to help with discomfort. Hope this helps.

Sure – the risk of bruising fromthe Advil is much less a day after the procedure (unlike before the procedure).
It is best to avoid Advil, green tea, omega-3's, vitamin E and alcohol one week before having filler injections and one day after to diminish the potential for bruising.

I recommend to all my patients to sleep on their backs for 3 nights following filler injections. This time allows the product to settle. Over long term, if you apply consistent pressure each night to one side of your face you may see a decrease in one side vs the other. Hope this helps.
There are a number of regions that fillers can retain fluid or become swollen. One of the late concerns would be infection with a bacteria thT can form a biofilm. I would suggest that you be evaluated by your injector and get a second opinion if your injector is not board certified. Good luck
