Shaved head after 3 years post hair transplant. Will it grow back to the way it was?

Shaving your head 3 months post-op should not cause any inconvenience regarding the hair growth.

It will surely grow back. Transplanted hair is removed from the permanent zone. So, it will grow back even you cut it. 

Hello, thank you for the question. Shaving your head should have no impact to the hair below the skin.

Your donor hair around the back and sides of your head. Your hair and skin would have fully healed along time ago now since your FUE. Obviously the hair removed is gone and can´t regrow as the hair follicles are no longer there. But your remaining hair will continue to grow, shed and regrow as it goes through your normal hair growth cycles. 

There should be no issue here. The follicles are what was transplanted and your follicles are unaffected by shaving your head this far out from surgery. Congratulations on a successful result!

Shaving your head will not impact the hairs below the skin and that includes the hair transplant you had 3 years ago
