We (doctors) wind back the clock; then the clock starts ticking again. If you have 2 syringes of Radiesse, when it wears off depending if you like the way you looked with the filler you may want to get more or less the next time. The nice thing about Radiesse is that every time you are injected Radiesse will stimulate collagen in the area it was injected so you may need less (you have to remember in the year or two while it is "wearing off" you will continue aging). Hope that helps. Good luck!
Hi and thank you for your question! Radiesse is a stimulatory filler that stimulates body to make collagen around it, so the eventual volume you gain tends to be more than the volume of the Radiesse itself. However, you need to keep in mind that the aging process does continue which means that even if next time you still need 2 syringes of Radiesse, it does not mean that there was no extra collagen because without the extra collagen made, you might even be needing 3 or 4 syringes then. I hope it helps and good luck!
Radiesse beads will induce your body to make collagen. Therefore, you may not need to have 2 syringes in the future. Be sure you're seeing a certified injector for best results. Good luck, Dr. ALDO
If you had 2 syringes of Radiesse for your initial treatment, it is possible that you would need the same amount after the initial Radiesse goes away. Part of this would depend on when you had the treatment and also on changes that may occur as you age. If you had the second treatment at some point before all of the Radiesse was gone, it is possible you would only need one syringe to achieve maintenance. Also, it is possible as you age that more volume loss would occur, which would mean that more product would be needed to achieve the same effect.
Hello,In my clinic, most people have Radiesse for a year or more. It doesn't mean though after one year it is still 100%. Most patients would want to maintain the results so they come every 6 months or so have one syringe touch up. That would help them to have steady look. One more option is to use Bellafill which is long lasting filler. Cheek injection would be off label but it would be appropriate. But in case you don't like it then it would not possible to remove it.Considering the aging and the changes as a result of weight changes and so on, temporary modalities are the best appropriate options. All the BestRay Bayati MDElite Medical AestheticsSacramento area, California
I am uncertain where you are receiving treatment...cheeks? If you have a good response in building collagen from your original Radiesse treatment you may need less the second time around. In my experience if you achieved the correction you desired you will most likely need the 2 syringes.Good luck
Since Radiesse has calcium beads that stimulate your collagen it is possible that you will not need so much on the second inejction
Hi, I have performed many facial shaping procedures using dermal fillers, silastic facial implants (cheek, chin or lip implants), liposuction and/or facelifts for over 30 years. Yes, when a temporary dermal filler completely dissolves you would need to re-inject the same (or a similar) amount in the same pattern in order to achieve similar aesthetic results. If you're looking for permanent results, this would require placement of silastic implants that work best in the cheek, chin and lip areas. Permanent fillers have too many unwanted side effects and fat despite its recent popularity offers far less of a reliable shaping volume than an off the shelf filler or silastic implant.Hope this helps.
Radiesse is a stimulatory filler that is an excellent option for patients who desire a longer-lasting filler alternative to hyaluronic acid dermal fillers. In our office, we use Radiesse to complement structural areas of the face and contour bony prominences. Our office also is a center of...
I have been injecting Radiesse for years and have never injected this much in a patient at a single visit. You are only 28 and unless you have a birth defect causing issues in your face this is excessive and i suggest a second opinion and be sure you see a board certified dermatologist ...
