It’s been 6 weeks post op, my left butt cheek feels real and soft but my right one has a hard lump that is sore when pressure is applied to it. Is this something I should be concerned about ? Will it go away? During recovery my right side was always more tender and sore to the touch in that area as well. Hoping this is not an issue .

Answer: Concern 6 weeks after BBL Hi and welcome to our forum! Congratulations on your recent surgery! The operative result is not yet apparent as there are multiple factors at work. Inflammatory swelling will totally obscure the size and configuration of the buttocks. Also, the skin and soft tissues must adjust and reshape to accommodate the added volume beneath. Lumps and bumps may represent only localized areas of increased swelling, but also could represent hematoma, or seroma. If small, spontaneous resolution will occur. If large, fluid filled cavities may require aspiration. Your surgeon will be able to differentiate by examination. Follow the advice of your surgeon and continue follow up care.Best wishes...

Answer: Lump on butt after bbl Good day and thanks for your question. The lump you are showing can be secondary to several things, could be a seroma, trapped blood, a fat graft accumulation, etc. Best you can do is to have a consultation with your surgeon to decide what is the best aproach to solve it like aspiration, antibiotics, massage, etc. With a good aproach usually lumps disapear in some months.
