Ariel Nieblas, MD

I’m 6 months post op from CTT, Lipo 360, BBL & BL w implants. I researched for a year before making my decision. I ultimately decided against having surgery in the US because most US doctors leave their patients boxy looking and create unnatural looking belly buttons. I chose Dr Nieblas because he’s accredited, safe and knowledgeable. He creates the most beautiful curves, has the cleanest thinnest incision lines and makes the most natural looking belly buttons. I was a little nervous about having surgery out of the country but the care I received far outweighed my expectations. I felt safe and well cared for during the entire process. I am so pleased with my experience that I would recommend Dr Nieblas to even my closest friends and family.

I consulted with six different surgeons in the US and Mexico. I chose Dr. Nieblas based on his training, board certification and thorough answers to my questions. He cones across as genuinely nice and caring. His English is impeccable.

He was meticulous in measuring and realistic about the results he could deliver. I've lost over half my body weight. The loose skin on my torso was awful and I had no breast tissue left. I showed him goal pictures of what I wanted for my breasts. He explained to me that because I have a very small frame he couldn't get them as large as I wanted but would go as big as he could without compromising my results. He also told me point blank "You have no fat so I can't fix your butt, but I will make it look as good as I can." He recommended a torsoplasty (lift all the way around my braline) along with circular tummy tuck and breast lift.

He explained this was basically reconstructive surgery and would take a long time. My seven hour surgery was the only one he performed that day. After surgery he let me know he was able to use 295cc smooth, round implants that are high profile and will give me the full upper pole I want.

My results are amazing. I'm 6 weeks post op and love my results.

I stayed at Serenity Grace Care/Blessed Recovery Home for two weeks. I highly recommend them.

At 9 years old I had my appendix removed and it left a horrible scar because of the infections I got. It learnt stomach completely deformed. After my last pregnancy I decide to do something for my self.

My day 1-6 experience in Tijuana!
Day1: First day in Tijuana down! We hired Lisett Gonzalez driving service. (Her WhatsApp #is +1 (619) 623-7647) Her driver Arturo picked us up in a new Ford Expedition. It was a group of 6 he picked up from the airport which made me feel safer. Multiple vehicles were stopped and being inspected, but not our vehicle. We were waved to pass along. He dropped us off at the new office location called New City Medical Plaza. I carried my money cash in a flat Fanny pack. I was a little nervous at first but thats why I decided to go straight to dropping off the payment. My coordinator Queren was very quick to reply since my day is coming up. She sent a QR code that will allow you further into the building without it the security will not let you in. If you have a companion they will not be allowed into the office unless they have their own QR code. His office is small but clean. All the staff I meet today was female. They just hired someone new to help because they are very swamped. Since my mom and I hadn’t eaten all day they decided to have the labs lady (a separate company) come and draw our blood for testing. One thing I did not like was that she had no gloves when drawing our blood. It’s definitely not the same as in the US. I just made sure she used a clean needle. We left a few minutes later and checked into Pueblo Amigo hotel. If you haven’t booked, book at the Quartz because it’s right next to the office. Pueblo amigo isn’t bad but it is a 5 min walk away. Once we checked in we had to go try that famous Caesar's salad. We definitely recommend. We used Uber twice and it’s been a good experience.
Day 2: So day two in Tijuana has been fun! I wasn’t going to post, but I figured someone may find useful the information I share. We use Uber to get around. We pay using our card on file that automatically converts pesos into dollars. It is soooo cheap. I’ve use Uber in Vegas and that shit is expensive! $2-$3 a ride is very affordable. We went to Walmart first and then Plaza Rio to walk around and shop (its expensive lol). We went to eat at Taquería Taqualli Tacos Urbanos the food was good, but I wish I would of ate something healthy because my stomach did not like that. I’m still watching my weight because I’m just under what I needed to be. Queren did tell me to avoid places that are highly populated and not to eat pork or sea food. Tomorrow I have my drawings done and we’ll be taking pictures with the staff of Idealsurgery.
Day 3!! Today was a great day! My mom and I started with eating at Tacos Mike. We saw him on Mark Wiens YouTube channel and the tacos were amazing. After that we made the trip to the recovery house we will be staying at, Excellence recovery home. The house was nice, but there is two homes. The second home is just across the street and a few houses down. Claudia was very attentive and explained everything about what the offer.
The consultation was moved to 5 pm because Dr. Nieblas surgery ran a little longer that expected. He is amazing!!! He is a serious but friendly person. He gave me a run down on what to expect for my body. I am definitely not going to have a big ass! Lol I have no hips, a short butt crack, and a short ass. My arms are already to big and lose for lipo so he recommended on a second round have an arm lift. I may need a back lift if the lipo leaves my skin too lose, but on a second round. He said he will do the best he can for my body. I don’t have much skin on my breast so I can only be a c cup which I’m happy with I don’t want huge boobs. I also don’t have a lot of skin on my butt so he will go as big as he can. Overall my experience was fantastic!! He is professional!! I never felt uncomfortable. He measured me about 50 times, so he is very meticulous. I’m excited for tomorrow.
Day 4: surgery day I’m here!! The facility is very clean and the staff is very friendly. The wifi sucks in the waiting room , but in my room it’s good. I signed all the paperwork about my current state of health and history of my families health. I just got my IV put in and marked up again by Dr. Nieblas. My final weigh in was 164 and I’m not 5’3 ?????? I’m 5’2. My clinic took my height with shoes on. I’m surprised I don’t feel nervous. I’ll update once I wake up!
Day 5: Day two post op! I feel great. The lipo is definitely the worst of the pain. I’ll post a picture as soon as I can. Surgeryroom was okay. The only issue I had was there was some construction going on and I couldn’t sleep at night because of the banging. Excellence recovery home has been great. They picked me up at 10:30 and DR. Claudia is amazing and so is all the nurses. Definitely would recommend. For pain I’m taking 10/325oxy/Tylenol that I brought from home and that has been more than enough. They prescribed me tramadol, but I’m going to finish the pill I brought first. They also prescribed iron, arnica pills, and antibiotics. When I left the surgery room my iron was 10.1.
Edit my iron before surgery was 13.4.
Day 6 today! 5/22 I had so much fluid after they removed the bandages. Lipo is the worst of all and I’m constipated . The massage hurt a little but it was great after. they removed so much fluid. I have 2 bruises on my sides that they are keeping an eye on. I send the pictures to Queren and Dr. Ricardo (Dr. Ariel Nieblas right hand man) is coming to see me at the recovery home. I love the fact that he is so attentive and cares about his patients. Even the doctor at the recovery home was surprised. She said not a lot of doctors are willing to come and see their patients. These women at the recovery home are amazing and so attentive with all my needs. They have doctors and nurses constantly caring for you.

Dr. Nieblas and staff are amazing, couldn’t have been more happier with results. Communication with its patients is great. From the first time I emailed to inquire, they where the only ones out of all Dr.s i inquired to respond in timely manner and even though i wasn’t sure about booking surgery, i probably e-mailed once a day for a month and thry always responded to me quickly. When consulted with Dr i knew he was the one, his knowledge and evaluation skills were what made me choose him. Im now 3 Weeks post op and my results keep getting better every day. I’m so thankful I did my research and found Dr Nieblas to be my surgeon. Highly recommended him and his amazing staff.

Dr.Neiblas is an amazing doctor with incredible skill! He is an artist at what he does. He was very meticulous during our pre-op visit and had checked measurements multiple times. I had a tummy tuck and breast lift and my body looks better than when I was in my twenty’s! He also did visit me a few times post op including the night before I left Mexico. His staff are wonderful and very helpful. I would recommend him to anyone without hesitation!

Hello everyone! I'm 3 days pre-op and am feeling the emotional rollercoaster of fear and excitement. Admittedly it's mostly fear! I'm worried that I haven't prepared enough, haven't worked out enough, have missed some instructions, will be told by the surgeon I'm no longer eligible, will be in unbearable pain afterwards and at worst of course I will die LOL! And then worried that the surgery won't be successful and my tummy won't look as good as I'm hoping afterwards! Seriously does or did anyone else feel like this before their surgery? I'm going to Mexico flying there on friday for my pre-op bloodwork then surgery is on Saturday. I'll be there for 7 days post-operative care for which I'm feeling thankful that I'll be having such good care as well as (hopefully) a bit of a vacation. Very lucky that my mom will be going with me and am hoping that she is not too bored while staying there. I've bought several loungewear dresses, one long one with buttons down the front so I'm not lifting my arms as I'm thinking that might be an issue. Plus flip flops & slip on runners for the least amount of exertion. Also bringing dry shampoo and wet wipes as will be a few days before I'm able to shower. I've been told not to worry about scar cream it's not needed until the incision has healed. Also that the surgeon provides a compression garment. If anyone has any other advice - especially for traveling from BC to Mexico and return - I'd love to hear it! Will post my "before" photos shortly.

4 days post op and feeling great. Due to having a blood disorder and prone to clotting my surgeon decided to only do a classic tummy tuck and only a little bit of liposuction. Pain has been minimal and I’m so happy with the results so far. Some swelling as you can see from the side photo as lipo was done around the incision in the pubic area and also down the centre of my stomach.

7 days post op and I’m reflecting back over how quickly this past week has gone. A few things I’ve been thinking of that may be helpful:
1. Remember to eat before taking your pain meds and antibiotics. I was distracted the morning of my 3rd day post op and suffered the consequences of throwing up! Besides the pain I was so worried I’d torn my stitches as I felt a warmth spread down the middle of my stomach. The surgeon checked it and reassured me it was fine, probably tore a little but as there are 3 layers of stitching to the muscles it was fine. If I had felt something pop and there was a protrusion then that would have been an indicator of something more serious.
2. Going to Mexico and spending a week recovering in a hotel was such a good idea! No worrying about cleaning, making my bed, cooking or looking after anyone! And daily care by the nurses and surgeon was fantastic. My mom came with me and we had a relaxing time with lots of naps plus did some Xmas shopping. My son had his dad and Grampa alternating taking care of him (he’s 15 so doesn’t need too much lol) and they had fun! If you have the ability and luxury of time to be able to afford this time to heal then I highly recommend it.
3. Sweatpants with pockets are your best friend. I packed so many clothes but in the end pretty much just wore a pair of sweatpants every day with pockets that I could put my drain pouch into.
4. A laxative and stool softener. Pain meds cause constipation and using your stomach muscles to push hurts. Enough said!
5. I didn’t need a recliner or walker. Although it would have been nice and convenient it’s not absolutely necessary. I’m sleeping on lots of pillows behind my back/head and under my knees. My back hurts from walking hunched over but every day I’m able to straighten up a bit more ever so slightly. I find by the end of the day I’m stooped over more and my back hurts more. My surgeon said after 2 weeks to start stretching out but that it’s different for everyone when you will be able to stand straight.
6. Enjoy the new you! Every day I’m looking in the mirror and am so happy I did this! My only wish would have been to do it sooner. I’m not perfect and don’t wish to be. This was done for me so I can feel better working out (no saggy flap bouncing up and down!), in my clothes (flat tummy in dresses, pants) and naked!

Dr. Nieblas is an amazing caring doctor. I had a tummy tuck and could not be happier. He was great his staff was great. I have never had such great care. Easy to talk to explains very thing answers all your questions. I would highly recommend

As my plastic surgeon that I have already brought several friends and clients to himMy client had the same surgery I did (tummy tuck and eye lids) 1 month ago and she is pleased as well! His personal attention is unmatched to US doctors.I had to have 7 surgeries for health reasons 5 in my stomach, back surgery through my stomach as well as 3 C sections because of that back fusion and gall bladder removal all left my stomach a mess. Gaining and losing 60 pounds 2 different times left a lot of excess skin.I wanted a surgeon accustomed to dealing with bariatric patients (as I lost 60 pounds again and for the last time.) Im not just a soccer mom wanting to tighten her tummy. I had medical reasons for the completeBreakdown of my stomach wall beyond any working out to tighten it up as well as lots of loose skin from weight gain and loss several times. He is an Expert at body contouring and making it beautiful.He visited me 7 times between the hotel and the hospital in my 5 day stay in Mexico!This is just unheard of in the US! You are lucky if you see your surgeon once in the early am after surgery the next day, usually they send a different doctor to check on their patients.. I live in San Diego so it’s easy to see him! He has done Botox and fillers on me as well more recently amd I’m very satisfied with his experience as a surgeon with these treatments as my former filler and Botox were performed in San Diego by less qualified doctors who were not surgeons. His technique is unbelievably gentle! I have not experienced pain when being injected or bruising wich is AMAZING! And he doesn’t do TOO MUCH. Wich is important to me. I want to look natural not like a dollI’m returning in 4 weeks with 3 more clients who want to see him .I do Facials so I am in the beauty industry and I see a lot of bad work.I have had 8 surgeries now and only one was Cosmetic (with Doctor N) so I have had a lot of bad care in US hospitals and negligent doctors - I could go on and on but won’t here.Just know you are in very capable and gentlecaring hands with Doctor Nieblas as your surgeon.Shout out to his scheduling staff as well! So easy to get an appointment or get my questions answers by text message or phone callsDoctor Nieblas speaks perfect English as do his staff and he has a great sense of humor wich helps to get through the tough part.If you are reading this Doctor N see you soon!3-2018 surgery date/ Tummy Tuck/Lipo/Fat Transfer to cheeks and buttocks and Eyelid lift. Back at work full time 3 weeks later. P.S. My husband tells people his wife lookslike a Play Boy Bunny! I love it!

Dr Ariel Nieblas was amazing!!! I was treated like a person not just a patient! His work is simply beautiful he created more of a masterpiece with me than surgery! I cannot get over how I look now but mainly how I feel. I have never felt this way about myself! Thank you Dr Nieblas I will never forget you!

I am so happy with my results, everything was easy from the beginning, the appointment, evaluation, DrNieblas was super patient with me, I had a lot of questions, he took the time to explain and answered everything. I had a tummy tuck with breast lift. I think he really cares for his patients.
