Thank you for your question regarding what are your best options to treat your love handles and pubic region and the fact that you are not done having children yet, and you are not ready for a tummy tuck. You and I agree that your best results would be with a tummy tuck and liposuction of your flanks and love handles. If you want to have liposuction now, you can. However, you will be left with loose skin. The loose skin is evident because you already have stretch marks, and if aggressive liposuction is performed, the skin will not retract. Therefore, your options are liposuction of the bra roll, pubic region, and love handles with a high risk of skin irregularities and loose skin. Wait until you're done having children and have a definitive tummy tuck with liposuction of these areas. It is entirely up to you, but I would wait. I agree with your other plastic surgeon who says liposuction would make these areas worse, not better. Thank you for your question. Even though you may have plans to get pregnant down, the road, liposuction is an option. Life360 can be done to help improve contour of your Admin waist, upper and lower back. I might also suggest using some of that fat to fill in the flat spots on the sides of your hip any of the buttock area. Well pregnancy may ultimately cause your body to gain weight and some areas. The general shape created by liposuction will be preserved and then if you’re done having kids, a tummy tuck would be a nice way to restore the shape and contour of your abdomen. Good luck on your body contouring journey.

Based on these photos, combination of liposuction and abdominoplastyy should be procedure of choice. However, if you do not want to dod abdominoplasty, liposuction of torso, 360, is next optipon. Good luck.

At a minimum, I think you’d look great with liposculpting of the waist, flanks, love handles, hips, and back. The front of your abdomen could be addressed at the same time for a 360 approach. Regarding the front of your abdomen, although lipo isn’t skin removal, i shoot for a smaller version of what you see now. I do theses all the time for women just like you that aren’t ready for a tummy tuck. Fly out to see us for a few days. Fly back without the love handles.

Thank you for your pictures and questions. The doctor you respect was right, waiting is the correct answer. You have both skin excess and adiposity, lipo is going to only make the skin laxity worse. And if you know you are going to have a TT in the future, why waste the money on lipo now, just save up and do the TT when you are ready! If you really want to treat the love handles and lower back, perhaps a body lift would be a better option, so save up for that instead! Hope this helps!

I think a reasonable plan would be to have liposuction of the hips, waist and braroll region. Do not liposuction the abdominal or pubic region until you do the tummy tuck. Doing so can create scar tissue that will make your tummy tuck more dangerous because the scar tissue will prevent the tissue from being tightened, forcing the surgeon to cut internal scar tissue and the precious blood vessels that nourish the skin. This could lead to poor wound healing, infections, or tissue necrosis of the abdominal skin and soft tissue.

Super interesting. I like that you understand a Tummy is your best option and I agree with your doctor… but here is a better solution for you! I believe that flank and waist lipo can be done. And it can be combined with a mini tummy tuck of sorts. I would remove all the excess skin from your pubic area and your lower abdomen. This would would make your lower abdomen tighter! As a bonus it would lift the pubic area creating a mons lift! This procedure is great because we can make the incision super low and we can combine it with liposuction of multiple areas.

Lipo alone will make things look worse and it will make everything saggy and loose. Removing just the right amount of skin with what I would call a “Mini Tummy Tuck/Mons Lift Procedure” will give you the results you want plus it will not affect your future pregnancy!!

A lot of women who have had children, but are planning on having more children, are interested in ways to improve their appearance in the interim. I agree with your doctor that I would wait until after you finish having children to undergo a tummy tuck. However, I think you could benefit from liposuction to address the pubic area, love handles, and bra rolls. It is difficult to say without examining you in-person, but from your photos you appear to have some laxity of the skin on your lower abdomen. While liposuction can cause some skin tightening, it would not fully address skin laxity and stretch marks, which would be addressed with a tummy tuck. Non-surgical treatments, such as Emsculpt, Thermage, and micro RF can provide some muscle and skin tightening, but would not provide as significant an improvement as surgery. I recommend speaking with a fully-trained plastic surgeon to discuss your options. Best of luck!
