How long after surgery is it safe to start Prozac back up?

I have read that there were increased risks of bleeding during surgery if you take Prozac. So I stopped mine 2 weeks prior to surgery just in case. I'm 3 days post op now....is it safe to start them up again? Thanks!

Thank you for your question.  I would wait at least 8-12 weeks before starting a weight loss supplement.   Ask your surgeon for his or her recommendations when to restart.

The breasts can continue to heal and settle for months after surgery.  Check with your plastic surgeon for scar therapy to help prevent areolar widening.
