I color my hair and I'm wondering if this is safe to do abut a month post breast lift? Are my incisions closed now? Will the hair color irritate or cause an infection? Thanks in advance.

Answer: Realself Question: Can I color my hair a month after breast lift? Thank you for your question.I usually advise my patients that it is okay to get their hair colored after the first couple weeks after surgery if the patient's healing process is normal. Ultimately, the decision should be made between your surgeon and yourself. I hope this helps. Best wishes!William J. Vinyard, M.D., F.A.C.S.Board Certified Plastic SurgeonPalm Beach, Florida
