I have always had small Montgomery glands on my nipples since puberty, but I got more of them and they got much bigger after birthing and breastfeeding 3 babies. I quit nursing my last baby over a year ago, at a year old. Breast cancer runs in my family. Should these cause concern? Is there a way to fix them?

It appears that you have inverted nipple. Usually reason for that are short and dysfunctional milk ducts. Surgical correction may help. In person consultation with a plastic surgeon with experience in this problem is recommended. Good luck.
I see two issues here: 1 Nipple effacement - your left nipple does not have the projection that you would expect. This is easily corrected under local anesthesia.
2) Asymmetric areolas. This can be treated to constrict the arealae to the desired size. This is more involved. There is also a risk...
Dear Resourceful573337,
it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. If you are concerned, I would suggest you to consult your doctor. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.
