Can I resize my nipples? FTM (Photo)

Question

So I made my surgery a year ago, had to go for double incision. My scars are healing pretty well, BUT (there's a huge but) my nipples are HUGE! And I actually believe both of them should be wider apart. So my question is: can I resize and replace them? Or do you think the nipples are in a good spot? I hope you guys can help me out, I may have revision in January.

The areola is the pink circular base upon which the nipple sits.  The size of the areola can be highly variable but averages about 4 cm in diameter in a young woman and typically will increase in size with time, age, pregnancies, and weight gain. You are probably referring to areola, not nipple size? Yes, your areolas are large and too close for male patient. In general, areolas and nipples are smaller and positioned more laterally (aside) and lower than in female. It is always better to wait longer (one year plus) to proceed with further areola reduction. Stretching is very frequent with male areolas after reduction due to circular skin tension. Considering smaller reduction than desired and doing another surgery in 1 year interval, may also be a wise approach. Good luck.
