Is there anything that can be done to fix my deformed nipple?

I gained 15-20lbs a year or so ago and my areolas got quite a bit larger and even more uneven than they were before. I’ve been wanting an areola reduction for quite some time. I was wondering if there is anything that can be done to fix my deformed left nipple at the same time. Both nipples have always been flat except for when stimulated/cold. I had both nipples pierced and it helped my right nipple but the left worked itself out and left my nipple very undefined, flat, and overall deformed.

I see two issues here: 1 Nipple effacement - your left nipple does not have the projection that you would expect. This is easily corrected under local anesthesia.
2) Asymmetric areolas. This can be treated to constrict the arealae to the desired size. This is more involved. There is also a risk of widening of the scar, which can be easily visible. I would have the nipple treated, and leave it at that. This may correct the main thing you don’t like, without risking the circumareolar scar. Thank you for your pictures and questions. In general an in-person exam would be best. If the large areola is the problem, that could be improved with a peri-areolar mastopexy. You might also benefit from a lift and the areola could be reduced as part of a lift. As for the nipple projection, this is a minor difference and the options for improvement or reconstruction of this might be too significant to justify the small improvement. Make sure you are seeing a plastic surgeon who is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.

it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. If the size of your areolas is the issue, you can get a reduction. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.
