This is a good question. Is not unreasonable to him dissolvable stitches placed. The reason why I don't like dissolving stitches on skin is that they create a lot of reaction as they dissolve which can lead to increased scarring or darkening of the incision area. You need to have a discussion with your operating surgeon as to his or her take on using dissolvable stitches in the liposuction  incision areas. Good luck

Yes, absorbable sutures can be used to close the access incisions for BBL. I prefer the non-absorbables which I take out in one week.  The absorbables may be a bit reactive on the skin as they dissolve.
