Will I be able to Lift my child after having smart lipo of abdomen and having a mons lift? What is the weight limit that I will be able to lift? My baby weighs 23 pounds and I will have to lift him to put him in his high hair and up on the changing table.

Thanks for your question and each and every surgeon will have their own recommendations on what restrictions and limitations one should do or have after the SmartLipo and Monsplasty. The SmartLipo is not that restrictive and most of our patients resume some activity as early as 24 hours after the procedure – it’s the other one that will require the most restrictions.

Answer: SmartLipo Thank you for your question. SmartLipo recovery generally doesn’t require the same amount of down time as traditional liposuction. Typically, most patients return to work after 2 days. However, I recommend avoiding heavy lifting for at least 1 week. Each patient is different depending the area treated, the amount of fat removed, your genetic tendencies, skin type and natural healing abilities.
