What is the difference between smart lipo and bodytite lipo?

I'm really wanting to get laser liposuction and I'm wondering what the difference between these two, smartlipo&bodytite, are or if it's just a difference in the machines each doctor has that do the same thing.

Bodytite uses radiofrequency to melt fat and Smart lipo uses laser to reduce fat. Both can be used to treat stubborn areas of fat, but lack body shaping and contouring. For best results, I recommend a hi definition procedure like VASER liposuction. I use VASER HI DEF with ThermRF and fat grafting to get the most fat removal, skin tightening along with the ability to create contour and definition. This combination will give you the most toned result. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a hi definition physique expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Thank you for your question.
The 2 technologies are very different but essentially to the same thing snd achieve their effect the same way.
Smartlipo breaks down fat cells by poking the end of a laser fibre in to the cells and causing them to burst - this is incredibly slow. 
The more powerful later versions of smart lipo were able to achieve more as they had more power (smart lipo was finished by 2008 in UK). With these systems we were able to break down the fat and HEAT up the tissue till it was hot to get very profound tightening). 
Bodytite is an extension of this idea and is able pump out a lot more heat.
If you liken the smart lipo to a pushbike the bodytite would be a Ferrari.
No matter how good the driver (surgeon) there are things the pushbike just cannot do.
Vaser is also ok but works by vibrating the fat cells out and produces no heat thus the tightening is much less.
