Can I get Smart lipo if I can't workout?
Answer: Fibromyalgia doesn't prevent you from having lipo Fibromyalgia will not create any issues for your lipo procedure. However, if you also have weight management issues, it would be ideal to consult with a nutritionist for a long term eating strategy to maintain the results achieved by lipo.

CONTACT NOW Answer: Smart Lipo & Fibromyalgia -add vanquish, venus legacy, exilis ultra, zwave, cellutone, vaser, ThermiRF Yes, you can have Smart Lipo with Fibromyalgia. Keep in mind, it is best to be at a healthy, stable weight and health to get the best outcomes. For best results with treatments like Smart Lipo, I recommend adding a combination of radiofrequency treatments like Vanquish, Venus Legacy, Exilis Ultra for skin tightening and with Z wave/Cellutone for skin smoothing in order to get the best results. In our office we do a "Fire and Ice" treatment with Coolsculpting and Vanquish and get great outcomes. However, for the best results with contouring and fat removal, I recommend VASER HI DEF, with ThermiRF and ultrasound. See an expert for a formal consultation. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Yes Thanks for the question, I have operated on many patients who were unable to workout. That being said its important to commit to a healthy lifestyle not just to maintain and enhance your liposuction results but for overall personal health!

Answer: Lipo and pain Having liposuction and also having being diagnosed with fibromyalgia is not a contraindication for the liposuction. The only issue is that patients with fibromyalgia tend to have low pain tolerance and the recovery after the liposuction could be more difficult. I have performed cosmetic procedures in many patients with fibromyalgia and low pain tolerance and as long as patients understand the recovery process and help with keeping good atitude and activity after the procedure there is no problem. Hope this helps

Answer: Absolutely Fibromyalgia nor the inability to work out have no bearing on whether you can undergo and can benefit from SmartLipo. If you have deposits of extra fat cells in any one or a number of locations the procedure eliminates these no matter your level of activity. The only other major criterion is the ability of the overlying skin to retract to a reasonable degree. If so you may be an excellent candidate, and a consultation is the next step.
