I'm looking to get smart lipo in my abdomen, waist and upper hips. I went to see a surgeon who said he doesn't think he'd get more than 1L of fat from these areas and he isn't sure if I'd get that hour glass shape. Can you tell me if it's possible to achieve with my body type. My measurements are W-31, hips-42 and bust is 34. Thanks
Answer: Body Contouring It is absolutely possible to have an hour glass figure after liposuction. Liposuction of your abdomen, flanks ( waist) and entire back would definitely give you the figure you desire. You do have some fat in your waist and thus when this fat is removed ( contoured) your underlying curves would show.

Answer: Smart Lipo Thank you for posting your question. From your pictures, it looks like you have a pretty good body shape. Smart lipo uses laser to dissolve and permanently remove pockets of fat while at the same time tighten overlying skin. Since you have pretty good body shape and not much excess fat to begin with, I think you will benefit from the smart lipo procedure. As far as achieving the hour glass figure, I think you may need fat transferred or implants at your hip to achieve such effect. If that is really what you want, I recommend asking your physician about those options before committing to any procedure. Best of luck.
