There is no question that nonsurgical nose jobs can work well for curved noses and downturned (or drooping) nasal tips.I have been performing these procedures for more than a decade and have found nonsurgical nose jobs quite effective for lifting down-turned noses and droopy nasal tips (as well as straightening humps, bumps, and depressions along the bridge and top of the nose, for that matter). An in-flesh examination of your nose is advisable to determine whether you are indeed a candidate for this kind of treatment. And, if necessary, to confirm this before proceeding, your physician may suggest injecting a small amount of salt solution or dilute anesthetic solution as a test into the appropriate areas of the nose to assess the potential benefit of a volumizing filler. To provide the desired lift, volumizing filler material can be added to the area of the base of the nose, with or without the addition of a neuromodulator, such as Dysport and Botox.. The latter work, not by a volume effect, but by weakening the small muscles in the area that exert a downward pull on the nasal tip: the result, an elevated nasal tip. When necessary, a small amount of material can be instilled to the lower spine of the nose to further straighten it.
I completely agree with Dr Fleming. filler in the tip of the nose is a risky procedure and one must start with first of all a board certified Dermatologist/facial plastic surgeon. and use a filler that can be completely dissolved, if needed. I have done fillers and fat for the nose. they both work well. fat lasts a bit longer but I wouldn't start with fat.
Sometimes fillers in the nose are useful and botox into the muscle that pulls the nose down works well too. There is risk, but very little if performed by a physician with experience. I suggest going to only the best injector for this type of treatment. You will get improvement if you are a candidate but it is not what surgery can accomplish. Best, Dr. Emer.
When used carefully, fillers can be used to improve the shape of your nose. Although the result won't be as dramatic as with rhinoplasty, your tip can be lifted. It will be important for you to realize that the process will take several visits. Good luck.
Although fillers can be used to improve nasal aesthetics in some cases I would never use them in the tip because of potential serious complications, including skin loss secondary to compromised circulation.
Even with your photos, seeing the bump is not that easy so I am sorry that I cannot give you a 100% answer here. What I can tell you is that you should make an appointment with a board-certified dermatologist who are well skilled in determining what these bumps are and the proper course of...
Kenalog injections are not used to reduce a cartilaginous bulbous tip. After the rhinoplasty procedure, Kenalog injections can be used to reduce swelling, edema, and scar tissue formation in the supratip area of the nose. Kenalog injections are only placed after the surgery, not before. To ...
A non-surgical rhinoplasty uses fillers off-label to camouflage small deformities by adding volume to the nose. Thus, a small bump can be camouflaged or the nasal tip can appear slightly lifted, however, the cost is a bigger looking nose. This procedure is best suited for people with small noses...
