Will loose skin get worse after swelling goes down? Should I expect to have loose skin when standing?

I'm not sure loose skin is exactly your problem but it certainly Will not improve with swelling. Persistent stretch marks compromise the final result.

Many times after an abdominoplasty the stretch marks themselves can seem to raise up.  This is due to swelling and this will get better over time.  Only time will tell if you will end up with some loose skin of the abdomen once you are done healing.  

Thank you for your question. It is too early to know what your final results will be at only 5 days post op. I would certainly suggest that you give this some time (3-6 months) for the swelling to subside, but in the meantime, let your physician know about your concerns. Good luck.
