Do monolids have more advantages than double lids?

Hello, I would like to know, whether monolids have more advantages than double lids. If monolids do not have a crease, would it mean that the crease cannot raise when u age. ? Right? And you will never get ptosis if there is no crease right? So wouldn't it be better to have monolids instead of having double lids? Because when we age the crease goes up and makes the eyes hollow and round.... and to lower the crease is challenging procedure... so can someone with double lids get monolids?
