Uneven eyelid and “crow’s foot” after upper blepharoplasty (Photo)

Question

I have to repost this because my photos did not come out last time. I am 1 month post op upper blepharoplasty. I have left eye way bigger than the other. As for the right eye, the incision line extended far out and low, creating crow’s foot look wheb I smile. Is this normal? Will it goes away after sometime?

It has only been 1 month and your eyes are still swollen. I recommend you wait 6 months from the date of surgery before making a final decision. If the lateral incision is still too low at 6 months then it can be revised.

After blepharoplasty, like most cosmetic surgery procedures, it takes a least up to 6 months for swelling to subside and see the final results.  Asymmetry in the eyelids in the early postop period; may be related to the swelling or due to underlying preoperative asymmetry.  Appropriate follow up appointments with ones plastic surgeon should help answer the concerns.

It’s too soon to judge your blepharoplasty results. There is no obvious evidence that your procedure was done incorrectly.
I suggest giving yourself 3 to 6 months before judging the outcome.
