Is my desired look achievable with a revision rhinoplasty? I’ve already had 3 nose operations (photos)

Question

I included pictures of what I’d still like to achieve for my nose. I’ve had 3 previous operations that brought me closer to my desired nose but I still would like a more scooped button nose appearance. I’m thinking of having my nose bridge lowered and the radix lowered slightly as well as lifting the tip just slightly. I did this in my photos. Is this possible or is it really difficult and risky?

We can never get exactly precisely the outcome we want. And after each successive operation, it gets harder and harder to get close, and "tweaks" become more and more difficult to achieve with predictability. Your "ater" photo doesn't look like a scooped button nose to me, and it's too close to the "before" photo to consider another operation, imo. Now, if you wanted more of a scooped button nose, with a greater elevation of the tip, and more of a lowering of the bridge, then that would make the operation more feasible, but still very difficult because of your previous three.

Lowering the radix can be done but it is difficult. Sometimes it turns out to be a great result and sometimes the nose appears wider at the bridge and it has to be infractured. Since you have had 3 rhinoplasties, it may be difficult to do. Unfortunately, you have not provided before photographs or frontal views.

Generally speaking, it may not be worth having a fourth operation to change your nose several millimeters. You appear to have thin nasal skin and a fourth surgery would be risky, in my opinion. I hope this helps! Sincerely, Dr Joseph

Based on your pictures and in my experience, it is possible (revisions are never easy but in the hands of a skilled board certified plastic surgeon well versed in revision rhinoplasty, it is possible).
