31/f. I've never had kids, and I've got 34 D-DD's that are on the droopy side with age.I know a lift and implants together are probably my best option, but i think I'd want to save any surgical procedures for the future after having children. In the meantime, is there anything I can do to improve the look? Will adding some fat to fill out just a little bit be bad for breastfeeding in the future? Or is there any skin tightening procedure I could do? anything to add mass?
Answer: Anything nonsurgical that can help breast laxity unfortunately, we have not come up with any nonsurgical method to reliably and reproducible he tighten skin. There are some devices on the market which may create a tiny amount of skin tightening but none that will make any type of significant change. If one has stretchmarks, unfortunately we have not come up with a solution for them. Stretchmarks are ruptures in the under surface of the skin, that is where collagen and elastic fibers are found. When you have stretchmarks, it makes skin on the breasts more susceptible to sagging. Adding fat may help them fill out somewhat but it will certainly not elevate your breasts. Placement of implants alone if one has sagging breasts would serve only to increase the volume of the breast but would not be expected to significantly elevate your breast. A good discussion with your plastic surgeon will align the various alternatives that you have.

Answer: Skin tightening Depending on the amount of ptosis (sagging) you have as well as the quality of the skin you may be a candidate for BodyTite to tighten the skin. This is not a lift. It will not remove any skin nor lift the position of the nipple. It is important when you consider less invasive procedures that you fully understand what the benefits and limits are of the procedure before determining if it is a good choice for you.

Answer: Breast tissue laxity ? skin tightening Hello, thank you for your question. Yes breast size and shape will change after children. Certainly fat grafting is an option but it depends on what you want to spend for a temporary treatment. Also if you are looking to have children in the near future less than 5 years from now then it is better to wait. If you think it will be beyond that then maybe just proceed with the consultation part of our surgery to see what the options are, cost and risk factors. For more information check out our webpage.

Answer: Bellesoma Method There is nothing non-surgical that can be done to help droopy breasts. Adding fat or implants will make the situation worse. The technique I recommend is The Bellesoma Method. This will reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness without implants, elevate them higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.
